- Data Collected
HTI routinely collects anonymous data from every visitor of the Site to monitor traffic and fix bugs. For example, HTI collects information like web requests, the data sent in response to such requests, the Internet Protocol address, the browser type, the browser language, and a timestamp for the request.
For you to become a Community Member, HTI requires you to register and login, providing certain personal information (such as your name and email address), which enables HTI to monitor and support your progress through the Humaneering Proficiency Development Program, and to retain a record of your course completions and the associated Intellectual Property License Level for which you are authorized.
You are able to view, change and remove your data associated with your profile. Should you choose to delete your account, please contact HTI at email@example.com.
Minors and children should not use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- Use of the Data
HTI only uses your personal information to provide you HTI’s products and services, or to communicate with you about these HTI products and services or the Site.
HTI treats seriously any documents you may choose to upload to the Site. We encrypt all documents. If you choose to make a document public, HTI recommends you redact any and all references to people and addresses, as HTI cannot assure protection of public data and we cannot be responsible, and are not responsible, for any violation of privacy law you may be liable for.
HTI utilizes industry standard techniques to protect against unauthorized access of data about you that we store, including personal information.
HTI does not share personal information you have provided to us without your consent, unless:
(a) doing so is appropriate to carry out your own request;
(b) HTI believes it’s needed to enforce HTI’s Terms, or that it’s legally required;

HTI may contact you, by email or other means. For example, HTI may send you promotional emails relating to HTI or other third parties HTI feels you would be interested in, or communicate with you about your use of the Site. HTI may also use technology to alert HTI via a confirmation email when you open an email from HTI.
